Finding tales for this collection was not easy. It seems that humans spend much more time talking about ways to trick others...ways to defeat the enemy…ways to win the gold... Not so many stories are told about how to get along with one’s neighbors.
37 stories are included here, with 37 matching proverbs. 41 cultures are represented. You will find delightful audience-participation tales to share, thoughtful quiet pieces, and many short tales which take less than a minute to tell. Some are retold in my usual tellable style. Some are reprinted from the work of other authors.
